White Fillings
Fillings are required to restore teeth which are usually damaged by
decay or are fractured. The filled tooth is not immune to decay and must
be kept clean by regular brushing.
There are various types of filling materials which can be used. Replace
tired old Amalgam (metal) fillings with new Composite (tooth-coloured)
fillings. Smile and laugh with confidence.

Composite Filling
Sometimes a pin is inserted in your tooth to aid retention of the
filling.
Your dentist may instruct you not to eat for a period of time to allow
the filling to set or allow the local anaesthetic to wear off.
Should you experience severe discomfort or find that your bite does not
feel the same, please contact the surgery for further advice and
assistance.
